Description/Notes: Dramatic and swift at 104ft, DeSoto falls is located right off of Interstate 59, and is worth a stop anytime you are travelling through Alabama and have a few extra minutes. It is no more than a 1000ft walk from the parking lot. The area comes complete with a lake, a historically significant dam (early hydroelectric use), and the falls itself. Just a few miles upstream of Little River Falls and Canyon.
