Description/Notes: I used to have a rule about listing artificial falls, but I am going to drop that rule because I have been alerted to the existance of at least three in Alabama that are rather attractive. The waterfall labelled Longwood Falls is actually a dam for a pond/small lake. Here are some directions from the submitter of this waterfall, Wendi Merrit:

I-65 exit 271-Fieldstown Rd., go west (towards the Shell & CrackerBarrel) on Fieldstown Rd. to Longwood Dr.,(about 2 miles) turn right. Follow Longwood Dr to the end/T-street, turn right (unknown name, this is a new neighborhood & new street). Follow this road around a left turn/curve, and drive to the bottom of the hill, this road ends in a cul-de-sac. You should be able to see the trail off the end of the cul-de-sac, follow it to the right, takes you straight to the falls (about 100 yards at most.) The falls are probably on private property.
